Easter Camping: Cape Hillsborough

Over Easter weekend we went camping at Cape Hillsborough just north of Mackay with about 17 other people; my family, André's family, two families from church (the Campbells and Venemas) and family friends (the Shannons).

We had two possums regularly visit us... this was ranga possum :)

And that's the island we walked to over the cause way just before the tide came in.

There were lots of kookaburras :) We were woken by them every morning at about 6:30.
