Cyclone Yasi, Category 5: forecast to make landfall about 10pm. Reportedly the worst cyclone to hit Australia since 1918. That cloud cover would swallow up the entire eastern states of Australia!
Gas bottle filled, shower recess bathtub & containers filled with water, cold food frozen (to keep for longer than just in the fridge, if we lose power), windows taped, batteries in radio, outdoor furniture stacked into the corner.
